Irie

Inspired by my daddy, and the voice you’re hearing, my grandmama. this voicemail is the last one my grandmama left before she passed. irie, is a Jamaican term representing that everything is good, all’s well, positivity. this candle is a thank you to my daddy and grandmama for all the love they’ve given me, the culture, the Jamaican soul that lives within me. this candle is inspired by the numerous amounts of time my daddy was at the sidelines (or running up and down them) at my soccer games, the random phone calls just to say I love you, the bear hugs, dancing in the rain, watching the clouds and everything in between.
